Teaching Reality Educator Workshop: About

Participants engage in a teaching & learning experience that will build each school’s capacity to “move the needle” in the areas of cultural relevance, social justice, academic achievement and college/career readiness for school and student community.

As adults charged with the mission of connecting young people with highest visions of themselves, it is imperative that WE do the intrinsic work necessary in order to teach to the realities our young people face and empower them to create the reality that will help them capture and access their dreams. Our bi-weekly school-based workshop sessions incorporate the latest research and techniques of the thought leaders and activists on the cutting edge of elevating educational and life outcomes for young people who have historically and systematically been shut out.
